ISO 9001-2000
In the past, activities were executed according to customers’ quality specifications.
On November 8, 2002, IMPAS obtained the ISO 9001-2002 Quality Certificate issued by Bureau Veritas Quality International BV.
This certificate can be applied to:
Production, assembly and installation of piping systems, including construction work for mechanical installations for the ship, engine and equipment building industries, as well as industrial applications.
Wärtsilä Italia
A second series of pipes for the Turbo Assembly 18V46 has been commissioned. These will be used for the second series of engines that Wärtsilä is supplying to a power plant in Iraq.
In addition, the contact person for Wärtsilä Italia visited IMPAS’ modern production facilities in early February 2005 in order to peruse the new supply contracts. These discussions will be completed in Italy by March of this year.
Meyer Werft
Various commissions were received for prefab piping systems made from CuNiFer, stainless steel and carbon steel pipes. These deliveries are for build numbers 667, 668, 673 and 674.
Marflex Pumps
Following the successful delivery of the first Thermic oil module, Marflex commissioned a second one.
Westfalia Nederland
As of the beginning of 2004, IMPAS has been building various fuel separator modules for Westfalia Nederland. The final modules commissioned were of type CP1/CP4. 15 modules were commissioned in total.
Wärtsilä Switzerland
For this client, IMPAS has been delivering various pipes that function as spare parts for Wärtsilä globally, including the well-known Sulzer engines.
Collaboration with Wavin/FPI Hardenberg
After years of experience in processing GRE Piping of the Ameron brand, IMPAS has also been hired to assist the company FPI with prefabricating GRE Piping of the Wavin/FPI brand from Hardenberg.
This collaboration was commissioned by Marine Service Noord, which is responsible for the design and delivery of the engine room and tank loading installation for Tanker VG582, with Volharding Shipyards in Turkey supplying the body.
Contract MaK/Caterpillar
IMPAS’ goal to deliver precision piping systems to third parties in addition to the deliveries to sister company Marine Service Noord, is being accomplished. In addition to contract deliveries as main supplier for Wärtsilä Italia and Finland, IMPAS has entered a contract with MaK/Caterpillar Germany.
IMPAS has also become a fixed supplier for A. Friedrich Flender GmbH Germany.
Smit Gas Systems
The first dryer for Smit Gas Systems will be moved by special transport to Nijmegen to be finished by the client.
Expectations are that work will commence soon on an additional four dryers and four coolers.
Commission Smit Gas Systems
We are happy to announce that we have been commissioned to build eight Assy Dryer and Cooling Units.
The units are scheduled for delivery to Smit Gas Systems during the summer vacation of 2004.
